The first weekend of June is an exciting time to visit Vail and get immersed in our country’s largest celebration of mountain lifestyle and sports! The event draws more than 3,000 athletes and 53,000 spectators. The GoPro Mountain Games showcases more than 25 sports in professional and amateur categories and awards more than $100,000 in prize money. Events take place all over Vail from Golden Peak to Vail Mountain, Solaris Plaza, Vail Pass, Homestake Creek and this year adds Lionshead Village.
There is something for everyone! 10K Trail Runs and Fun Mud Runs. And Road Cycling and Mountain Biking. And Photography contests and events to show off your pooch!
