It started as a small, grassroots festival 10 short years ago, the spirited idea of brothers Scott and Sean Cross
, who were aspiring filmmakers and had family ties to the Vail Valley.
Vail is known for its world-class skiing, and just as well for its top-notch après ski. Après- ski (French for “after-skiing”) defines the art of gathering, drinking, eating and socializing and generally celebrating the spirit of a joyful day on the mountain.
February 25 marks the beginning of an historic event: the first appearance of the Burton US Open Snowboarding event in its brand new venue of Vail, CO.
